On fun: I like to look for every opportunity for fun – especially in things that I don’t usually think of as fun. Running and gliding with the grocery cart is a blast – just make sure the coast is clear! You can have fun anywhere.
On family: My husband and girls are a delight to me. I call them “my people.” I’m really bummed when I have something great to share and none of “my people” are home.
On faith: Daily I am in awe of the hugeness of my Lord. I am amazed at how He works and purposes my life for His glory. What a cool thing to get to be a part of His plans!
On loving big: The only way to love is with your whole heart. Sure it’s risky and you could get hurt, but it is so worth it. Jump in with both feet!
On dreaming big: I want to swim the English Channel within the next two years. I’m just a mom, but I think I can do it. I know my husband thinks I’m crazy, and I’m not too sure he is off base on that one, but it seems like the thing to do. Anything less seems too small. My daughter, Moira, told me “don’t chicken out”. I told her, “I won’t.” I think it might inspire my girls to dream big in everything they do – I hope so.
