About Celeste

Celeste is a writer with a heart for GIRLS. She focuses her writing on topics for women—often showing what NOT to do by sharing her own frustrating (and embarrassing) experiences. Celeste knows what it is like to be a mom. She has worked full time and part time, in the workplace and from home, and stayed home as a full-time mom (hardest of all!)—trying to find a balance that honors her creative talents and the needs of her family.

Celeste currently works as Communications Director for the Smoky Hill Vineyard Church in Centennial, Colorado.  She has written for various publications including MomSense Magazine, ePregnancy Magazine, and Enlightened Woman Magazine.  She also shares her heart with suburban moms in a bimonthly column, “A Mom Moment” for The Parker Chronicle.  She is regular contributor to Broncos Magazine and her first book, From the Red Tees: Help, Hope, and Humor for Girls on the Green will be published in 2007.

Celeste’s current book project, Coffee Encounters: Mothering in a Caffeinated World, is a delicious soul-sip for moms packed with simple truths, parenting inspirations, and the spills and thrills resulting from her cup-a-day habit.

Celeste graduated from the University of Colorado in Boulder. She has appeared in and hosted a segment on FOX NFL Sunday and is a former co-captain of the Denver Broncos Cheerleaders. When she is not writing or playing with her kids, she enjoys reading, photography, and golf. She lives in Colorado with her husband, Pete, and their two daughters, Peyton (7) and Morgan (3).
